Rachael Lake 
Teacher of the Year Nomination!

For over two decades our very own Ilwaco High School leader of all performing arts classes and amazing mentor, Rachael Lake, has championed education to students in Tacoma and here on the Peninsula.Ms. Lake’s dedication is recognized by a history of academic honors. Twice awarded Southwest Washington Music Educator of the Year. she has nominations for Washington State Teacher of the Year and Grammy Educator of the Year. This national recognition is from the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. Recently, her work on behalf of our students eared Templar Foundation and Ocean Beach Foundation grants of $30,000 each for use by our school system. In addition to overseeing all performing arts instruction, Rachael actively engages students in extra curricular programs including marching band, pep band, the newly formed mariachi band and the drama club. Please join us in recognizing the phenomenal asset our student body has in their beloved teacher, Ms. Rachael Lake!

Our Society has been hosting events for 39 years and are pleased to pay forward a portion of all event entrance, donation and membership fees to our local schools.
